Seeking Donations for 2023 CL Softball Tournament Silent Auction

The Cooper Landing Community Club is seeking donations from our residents, local artists, and businesses to feature at the silent auction fundraiser during our Softball Tournament. If you would like to donate, please let us know and we will arrange a pickup. We are grateful for artwork, gift baskets, certificates for services, trips and restaurants, or any items that help raise funds! To contribute, please email officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com. All funds raised from the silent auction will go towards the Cooper Landing Community Club. 16th Annual Cooper Landing Regatta

nnJoin us for the race of the year on Saturday, May 20th nnnThe Cooper Landing Regatta is a sporting event that takes place on the beautiful, turquoise water of the Kenai River. Our event covers seven river miles and features two boat categories- drift boats and rafts. The drift boat category is a racing contest where teams compete to be the fastest rowers on the river. The rafting category is a river clean up group competition to remove litter debris from the river corridor.nnWe welcome individual racers and those sponsored by local businesses and corporations. Your entry fees and financial contributions to this event supports our fundraising efforts for the Kenai River Sportfishing Association.nnnnhttps://cooperlandingchamber.com/regatta/n

Regatta Sponsorship Registration Extended until May 8thnnJoin the Cooper Landing Chamber for the upcoming 16th Annual Drift Boat Regatta by becoming a sponsor. All proceed benefit the Kenai River Sportfishing Association.nn

Sponsor receives their business name on a flag to be displayed on the drift boat throughout the race and at the awards ceremony.

Includes the registration fee of one drift boat or raft.

Two free drink tickets at the awards ceremony.

Softball Concessions Sign up

Cooper Landing Emergency Services Open House – This Saturday!!n

Come check us out from 10 AM – 2 PM this Saturday! Volunteers will have face painting & activites for all ages! Arctic Buddha will be selling ice cream! You will also have the opportunity to meet vendors including Safe Kids (Car Seat safety and Bicycle Safety including helmet fittings), 911 Dispatch, Food Safety, Alaska Health Fair, WIC, Alaska Food Bank, WiRE, Forestry and Stream Watch! nThe Fireflies are hosting a Meet-Up Hike 1 PM this Sunday at the CLES Fire Station! We will have snacks, maps & information on an assortment of hikes! We can choose to break up into several groups and do multiple different hikes or remain as a single group! All ages welcome!

nWe will have information on Saturday during CLES’s open house (10 – 2 PM) but you do not need to have attended to join us on Sunday!

Electric Fence Incentive Form

Defenders of Wildlife will reimburse 50% of the cost of an electric fence (up to $500) for securing brown bear attractants, such as garbage, fruit trees and livestock, in eligible counties in Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Montana and Wyoming.

Join the Kenai Peninsula Trout Unlimited Chapter in getting ready and excited for the 2023 fishing season! We are hosting a Fishing Gear Swap May 13th at Soldotna Creek Park from 11am-4pm. A variety of activities will be going on throughout the day including: a picnic, intro to fly fishing clinics, and Kenai Peninsula Trout Unlimited Chapter updates.

COLLECTING GEAR NOW! All gear types welcome: fly, spinning, saltwater; reels, rods, tackle- let us sell them for you, on commission or donate them to the sale, all proceeds go to KPTU!
