Office Administrator Wanted
Wanted a contractor with an Alaska business license to work as the Administrator in the office of the Cooper Landing Senior Citizen Corp. Inc. (CLSCCI) at the direction of the CLSCCI Board of Directors. The Administrator will work with CLSCCI membership, Snug Harbor Senior Haven residents, contractors, Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska Housing Finance Corporation, other entities, and the public.
The Administrator will use a MacBook to write and send reports, letters, newsletters, grants, and more.
The CLSCCI office is in Helen Gwin Commons, in Eagles View, in Snug Harbor Senior Haven. The Administrator will work at his or her schedule for approximately 60 hours a month at $25 an hour.
During the training period, of up to 20 hours, the new hire will earn $20 an hour.

2024 Statewide Sport Fish Stocking Plan Open for Public Comment
(Statewide)– The Alaska Department of Fish and Game—Division of Sport Fish (Division), is accepting public comment from now through January 31 on the 2024 Statewide Stocking Plan for Sport Fisheries.
The Division, with assistance from private nonprofit hatchery operators, plans to release approximately seven million fish annually into the waters of Alaska over the next five years to benefit anglers. The plan outlines the locations, numbers, and size or life stage for each species of fish that are planned for stocking.
“Stocking fish throughout the state provides exceptional sport fishing opportunities in various fresh and saltwater locations,” Statewide Stocking Coordinator Summer Woods-Tunney, said. “The comment period on the Statewide Stocking Plan is an opportunity for anglers to share feedback on our fish stocking efforts.”
Only fish reared from the Division’s hatchery facilities and from private nonprofit hatcheries that work in cooperation with ADF&G to improve sport fisheries are included in this plan.
The Statewide Stocking Plan is available for review on the Division’s webpage. Hard copies are also available for review at local ADF&G offices.
