Sawdust Amy’s Home & Garden is at it again! I will have Lots of beautiful flowers available for sale this spring, starting in May. Our community coming together is a wonderful thing! Our Easter Egg Hunt brought many smiles thanks to the contributions of Cooper Landing Chamber of Commerce, Wildmans, Inn at Tern Lake, Marja the Cookie Lady, Rachel and Andrew Mundy. Thank you Cooper Landing Emergency Services for the safe delivery of the Easter Bunny, and to Stephanie Lesmeister and Alicia Gottfredson, Allison Neeld, Janet Konopa, Martha Story, Jen Harpe, CL Youth Group and all the volunteers who helped make this event possible! CLCC Needs Help With a Removal of Few Trees Before Community Clean Up
The Cooper Landing Community Club has 2-3 trees down and encroaching in the parking area over by the Pavilion and one ON the Play House. We would be grateful if someone in the Community could come and clean them up before a memorial for a beloved community member on May 3rd and an upcoming wedding. CLCC Hall Cleanup & Firewise Day May 10
Mark your Calendars! We need volunteers for the annual Cooper Landing Community Club Hall Cleanup & Firewise Day for Saturday, May 10th, 1 pm – 5 pm. We will be needing help with general spring cleaning of the hall, painting the deck, brush clearing, some tree removal and prepping the field for the Softball Tournament (May 29- June 7). For those wanting to work outside, bring rakes, shovels, work gloves, ear plugs, eye protection, and your muscles! Also looking for a few chain saw operators, and a log splitter or two. Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held at the Baptist Church annex Saturday mornings 9am. This is an open 12 step meeting. If you are curious or think you might have an issue with drinking or other addictions, come join us!
