Congratulations Moosealanche & Thank You Everyone!

Congratulations Moosealanche for their championship win last night in a double header against the very determined Mountain Madness. They won the 30th year of our treasured Cooper Landing Softball Tournament. Cheers to you and well done!

The CLCC would like to thank all those who made this event possible. First off, thank you Dan Michels our Captain of Teams and the tournament! Your years of dedication to this game is so valued and appreciated. We’d like to thank Kenai Princess Lodge, Wildmans, Two Brothers Roadhouse, Alaska Wildlands Adventures for their donation of food and meals that everyone attending gets to enjoy. It is the one week of the year that many get a break from cooking! To the volunteers for field maintenance, scorekeeping, the scoreboards, umping, split the pot ticket sales, and singing the national anthem, thank you for braving the elements and keeping us on track, and in the moment. For all those who stepped up and helped at concessions, we sincerely appreciate your hard work. Your participation helped raise funds for the CLCC, CL School, CL Chamber, CL Trails & Walkables, CLSCCI, CLES and CL Library. To those who donated items for the silent auction and Julie Almarode, thank you for another successful and fun silent auction, the main fundraiser for CLCC of this event. To our Gaming managers John Almarode and Rhonda Lynn, thank you for making sure all our paperwork and filing was complete. And lastly to the players, thank you for entertaining us all. Everyone who attended enjoyed some incredible plays and games. That’s a wrap on 2025 every one!

CLCC Board – Yvette, Lorraine, Marja, Kathy and Rhonda

And again, Way to go Moosealanche!

Need Volunteer to Mow Helen Rhodes Park

We are in need of a good Samaritan to mow Helen Rhodes Park. It is located on the right hand side of the wye at Bean Creek where the “Welcome to Cooper Landing ” sign is and picnic tables are. We would ask that who ever mows follow managing invasive weed spreading.  To minimize weed spread and maximize the effectiveness of mowing, focus on timing, mowing height, and equipment maintenance. Ensure your mower is thoroughly cleaned between locations to prevent weed seed dispersal. For further information please email officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com. Thank you!
