Hold Your Own Creative Monday! If you would like to offer your own talent to the pool, sign up to share your expertise! Creative Mondays are now being offered at the CLCC Hall once a month. Artists, Cooks, Sewers, Photographers, and even Musicians are encouraged to pick a Monday to offer their expertise to members of our community and our surrounding neighbors. Participants do not have to pay to rent the Hall but must adhere to the rules and clean up procedures. In exchange we ask for a donation of your work or service that can be used as an auction item at one of our fundraisers. To register and for more information, email officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com.

Free Logs for Firewood at Cooper Landing Community Cemetery

Thanks to oversight by Tommy Gossard, Boreal Tree Services came in and did some much needed clearing at our cemetery! This was made possible by funds generously donated by local community members. Thank you all! The logs are available for any seniors or others who need easy access to firewood. First come, first served. Please clean up after yourselves and keep chainsaw noise to a minimum in early morning or late evening hours. Questions? Email officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com. Thank you!

Thank You Cooper Landing Trails Volunteers!

The Devils Creek Snow Trail prep would have been impossible without help from Lou Prill, Monika Adam, Jake Dies, Jannette Cadieux Carol and Jerry Fox, Dave Pearson and Charlie Shipton, Alex and Rachel Altmann, and David and Martha Story.

Thank you all for coming out despite the pouring rain. It was great it did not last and ended up being a pleasant day out.

We were able to brush out most of the main loops so any snowfall will set quicker and begin building a great base for the season.

Bookmark the link below for snow trail and grooming updates. You can also set updates to be delivered to your email inbox from this page.

Thank you also to Jerry Neis for mowing along the Snug Harbor pathway!

Share Your Catch in Just a Few Clicks!

(Statewide) – We’ve moved to a new online photo submission form for the 2026 Sport Fishing Regulations Cover Photo contest. It is now easier and faster to share your best shots with us. One of your photos could be featured on the cover of a 2026 Sport Fishing Regulations Summary Book!

Each year, the Division of Sport Fish publishes four regional regulation sport fishing books – Northern, Southcentral, Southeast, and Southwest – and the books feature photos of anglers and their catches from around the state on the cover and inside pages. Whether it’s a big catch, a family adventure, or a day out with friends, we want to see your fishing adventures this summer!

Deadline: 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 31, 2025.

How to enter:

  • Submit up to three photos (not screengrabs) taken in Alaska within the last two years.
  • Complete the required media consent release form through the online submission system. For kids under 18, a parent or guardian must sign. If multiple children are in the photo, each child’s parent/guardian must complete and sign a form.
  • Photos showing unsafe or unethical practices, fish and game violations, or advertisements will not be accepted (for example, children in boats without life vests).

For full details and to submit your photos the fastest, easiest, and most streamlined way, submit your photos through our new submission form online*.

Photos may still be submitted by email, but this is the previous method and requires additional steps. Include the angler’s full name, age, species of fish, and the waterbody where it was caught. Attach your photos and a signed media consent form, then email them to the correct regional contact:

*If you have already submitted your photos this year, you do not need to resubmit.
