Ladonna Mae Herbert
Ladonna Mae Herbert, 91, long-time former resident of Cooper Landing, passed away peacefully at her home in Salem, Oregon, on December 19, 2025. Ladonna is fondly remembered for her famous cream puffs and lemon pies, her sewing and quilting masterpieces, and the many colorful scarves she created for her friends. Because of her strong faith in God and love of children, she was instrumental in establishing the Lutheran Church in Cooper Landing, a children’s bible class in her home for over 25 years, and the ongoing Vacation Bible School every summer at the community hall. She was a docent at the Cooper Landing Museum, a board member, and started the history cookbook that the museum is currently selling. She was preceded in death by her second husband, Malcolm, and is survived by her two children, Jon and his family, and Lauri and her family. A memorial service and internment will take place in Cooper Landing this summer.
Cooper Landing Brewery Is Back
Happy New Year!
Cooper Landing Brewing will be open again Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 12–8 PM, starting this Friday, January 9.
The Blue Yeti will not be returning until the end of the month.
Bring games, puzzles, crafts, and snacks, and come enjoy a beer by the fire!

Our next Cooper Landing Community Club General meeting is Thursday, January 15th at 6 pm. We are currently asking for items for our agenda. Please submit your requests no later than 11 am Wednesday, January 7th to officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com.

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held at the Baptist Church annex Saturday mornings 9am. This is an open 12 step meeting. If you are curious or think you might have an issue with drinking or other addictions, come join us!
