Thursday Edition 4/2/26

Prospector John is looking for help this summer! Join our team!

We teach visitors how to operate high bankers and suction dredges, and how to pan for gold, and mine for gemstones.  We also have a fabulous gift shop.  Been in business since 2004 and have grown every year.  Experience is not necessary but helpful.  We offer guests gold panning at our store location and operate boat tours to our mining claims on Kenai Lake.  Looking for help who can learn on the go, operate a cash register, stock and promote gifts and tours, and engage and teach guests to mine and pan.  Never panned before; no worries we can teach you! Boat operators with a six-pack boating license, and anyone willing to get a license are also encouraged to apply.

Pay is commensurate with experience but we start at a rate of $22/hour.

Season is mid-May through Labor Day weekend.  Up to 40 hours/week.

Call John; if he is fishing, he may not answer so text and/or email him.  907-598-1808 / jhpbj@yahoo.com
