Volunteer Opportunity for Forest Service Committee

Are you interested in taking part of a committee who makes recommendations for conservation projects at or near the Chugach National Forest?

Do you have around 30 hours a year to share?

The Chugach National Forest is seeking between 9-15 volunteers to take part of the Kenai Peninsula-Anchorage Borough Resource Advisory Committee (RAC). This is a committee who would be approved by the USDA Secretary. There are dedicated funds that can only be used via the RAC. If you’re interested in learning more, visit the general page or the application page.

The invitation is open until the RAC reaches sufficient eligible candidates. That will be updated in the RAC website. See flyer below for more information.

Carlos is available to talk more over the phone or in a virtual meeting. 907.738.2758
