Meet and Greet at the Sunrise

Attention Cooper Landing Residents,

The new owners of The Sunrise Inn would like to invite you to a meet and greet at the Sunrise. Barbra and Alan Wills took ownership of the Sunrise a little over a month ago and have not been able to meet the community properly yet. As you may have heard they also own Buckets Sports Grill in Soldotna, which means they have been back in forth since the purchase. They are making the time on February 26th to host this event with hopes of answering all the questions you may have as well as just meeting their new neighbors. We will have some tastings to determine what the locals think of Buckets recipes vs traditional Sunrise recipes, and your opinion matters. We will also be providing a free meal to all that attend. As of right now the menu for this event is Bucket Burgers, hot dogs, and maybe a tasty soup. If you haven’t got the chance to try a Bucket Burger, come on down. Wednesday February 26th from 10 AM to around Noon. Hope to See you all there!

Community Potluck

Join us Tuesday, February 25 @ 6pm, at Kenai Lake Baptist Church, for the 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off Community Potluck! Everyone is invited to the potluck – just bring your appetite and a side dish or dessert to share if you can; if not, come anyway! Come ready to taste and compare and rate Cooper Landing’s best chili recipes — and if you can, bring a pot of that chili recipe that has made you famous amongst friends and family!

Sunrise Inn Community Gathering

Please join us at Sunrise Inn on Wednesday February 26th from 10-12 for a thank you meet and greet with US, Alan and Barbra Wills. We will provide hotdogs and Jr Bucket burgers to enjoy while we get to know more of YOU our local community! We are open to suggestions and ideas how we can continue to provide for Cooper Landing. Can’t wait to see you here!
