Alaska River Adventures is Hiring!!!

Alaska River Adventures in Cooper Landing is looking to hire FULL TIME UPPER KENAI RIVER GUIDE as well as Full Time and Part Time staff for our office. We are looking for people with strong customer service skills. Some of the job requirements are:
• Greeting and welcoming all our guests and directing them to their correct tour starting place.
• Taking and processing email and phone call reservations in a timely and organized manner.
• Building and maintaining all our professional partnerships.
• Working with our other team members to support daily operations.
Pay rate is based on experience. This is seasonal work starting June 1 and ending September 15.

CL Advisory Committee Elections & Meeting, Friday 27th!

The seats on this committee are nominated and then voted on by our whole community. Our AC should reflect best practices in current fish and game management and community concerns regarding land management. To be eligible to vote, you’ll need to prove residency at the beginning of the meeting. 10:00, Friday, March 27th. You can zoom or go in person to the Cooper Landing Community Hall.

Preparing for the Easter Bunny!

The CL Community Club is seeking volunteers to assist in prepping eggs and goodies on Wednesday evening, April 1 for the annual Easter Egg hunt to be held on Saturday, April 4th. If you are available either day to assist, please email officers@cooperlandingcommunityclub.com to let us know and either one of our board members or Alicia Gottfredson who is working with other parents will get back to you! Let’s make this another wonderful experience for the children of our community!!

Summer Campsites Available

Kenai River Float-n-Fish Campground has monthly campsites available May-October. Power sites are $600/month, dry sites (no hookups) are $300/month. Monthly guests have access to wifi, dumpster, and bath house with pay shower. Seasonal workers and Anchorage commuter campers welcome! For more info or to reserve call 907-519-0048.
