Tsalteshi Ski For Women registration open
The 20th annual 5-kilometer Tsalteshi Ski For Women will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 11 at the Skyview Trailhead of Tsalteshi Trails. Choose skate or classic skiing. Costumes are encouraged. Proceeds will be donated to a local charity benefiting women. Preregistration is available at ,www.tsalteshi.org/events for $25 for Tsalteshi members or $30 for nonmembers. Day-of-race registration, starting at 10 a.m., is $35 for TTA members or $40 for nonmembers. Youth registration is $10. The main event is for women, only, but a drag race for guys will be held after the women’s race. Donations for the drag race will be accepted and registration is not necessary. Tour of Tsalteshi ski and bike race
Tsalteshi Trails Association will hold its seventh annual Tour of Tsalteshi race at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at the trailhead behind Skyview Middle School. Choose the 40-, 20- or 10-kilometer ski race in skate or classic divisions. A 20-kilometer fat-tire bike race starts at 1:30 p.m., in partnership with Cook Inletkeeper. Prizes will be awarded for the first three men and women finishers in each race and raffle drawings will be available to all participants. Awards will be given at a post-race party starting at 3 p.m. at Kenai River Brewing in Soldotna. Discounts are available for early registration, TTA members and members of neighboring ski clubs. The first 150 to register for the race get a free Tour of Tsalteshi water bottle. To register, sign up to volunteer or for more information, visit www.touroftsalteshi.org.
Community Club Meeting Tonight 1/18
Join us tonight, Thursday January 18, for the CLCC meeting at 6pm. The meeting can be attended in person at the Community Hall or via the Zoom link below. For this meeting, we will have as a guest Jill Schaefer from Governor Dunleavy’s Kenai office. She will be bringing state representatives from DOT and the Troopers to address the concerns of Cooper Landing residents. We highly encourage everyone to attend in person if possible.

Morning Walk/Workout – Cooper Landing Community School
Effective next Tuesday, January 23rd, morning walk/workout will resume on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7:00 am-8:00 am in the Cooper Landing School gymnasium.
