ZOOM BOOK CLUB(change of date)
The book club on zoom scheduled for Tuesday January 16 is rescheduled for Tuesday February 20 at 9:00 A.M. Alaska time.
The book discussed will be Poisonwood Bible by Barbara Kingsolver
The Book for March 19 will be American Dirt by Jeannie Cummins and
The book for April 16 is Homecoming by Kate Morton
All books are available at the library and if you are interesting in joining on zoom please contact the library at 907-595-1241 or at ,cooperlandinglibrary.com to add your name to the list.
Sew and Sews, Quilters, Crafters
In 2024, the sewing club (crafters and quilters) or Sew and Sews will have access to the community hall every other Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are interested in using the hall for sewing, quilting or craft projects, contact the community hall for the key 907-595-2169. Please check the Cooper Landing Community Hall calendar on the website for all of the reserved dates as once in a while availability may be changed.
Community Club Meeting
Join us for the next CLCC meeting next Thursday at 6pm. The meeting can be attended in person of via the Zoom link below. For this meeting we will have as a guest Jill Schafer from Governonr Dunleavy’s Kenai office. She will be bringing state represenatives from DOT and the Troopers to address concerns of Cooper Landing residents. We highly encourage everyone to attned in person if able.
