Sunrise Happenings

nn

Thank you for your support all summer! Our plan is to be open 7 days a week all winter so please continue to support us! It’s the only way we can stay open.

n

With fall here and fewer guests we will be changing our hours. Starting on Monday, October 9th we will start opening at 8:30 am and closing at 8:30 pm in the cafe. The bar will continue to open at 5 except on Sunday morning when we will open the bar at 9 am for football. Think Eggs Benedict and a Bloody Mary with good friends!

nn

Saturday, October 21st we are hosting our annual, “Take Back Your Town Party”! Not that we don’t love the tourists, but it is great to see locals get together again. Jim Mulroney and John Cunningham will be here to entertain everyone. They are amazing musicians with over 850 songs in their repertoire. They will play the night away as long as guests are around! You can also enjoy our Prime Rib Dinner the same night! Dinner starts at 5. Jim and John will start at 7:30. You can enjoy dinner and music together then! Please call ahead to make a reservation so we are sure to cook enough for everyone to enjoy. Dinner will include salad, Prime Rib, 8 or 12 oz, baked or garlic mashed potatoes, fresh vegetable and dessert. 8oz dinner $36.95 and 12oz dinner $39.95. Sunrise Inn 907 595 1222

nn

On Saturday October 28th plan on being here for the Halloween Party! A DJ will play all of your favorite tunes starting at 8:30. There will be a best costume contest for the top 3 amazing outfits. Judging will be at 11pm. Even if you aren’t really a Halloween costume party person you should come by just to see the most amazing costumes ever. Cooper Landing folks rock this! And, Free Food!

nn

I am going to bake Carrot Cake and Apple Crisp every Friday for the weekends. Come in and enjoy these wonderful desserts.

nn

On Monday October 16th we will be closed for full meals between 3 and 4:30 for a staff meeting. You can still buy gas and premade treats. The staff will be discussing entertaining ways to help everyone through our long dark winter. We have thought about Darts, Bingo and craft or game nights. Let us know what you would like to see happen at Sunrise. Is there enough interest for me to purchase the NHL channels? The Thursday night pool tournaments will start soon as well as Trivia night.

nn

Our winter motel special is about to begin too. From November 1st through March 15th if you stay with us for 2 nights the 3rd night is FREE. And the nights don’t have to be consecutive. Amazing hey! You do have to keep your receipts to show us you have earned a free night. This applies to the public only. Not businesses. However, if you have employees staying here for lengthy stays, please call me directly and I will arrange discounts with you directly.

nn

Cheers to you all and we hope to see you soon.
