Kenai Princess Lodge Closing for the Season

The Kenai Princess Wilderness Lodge will be closing for the season at 11 am (12 pm for the RV Park) on, Saturday, September 16th. We would like to thank the Cooper Landing Community for your support and inclusion in the community. Cooper Landing is a very special place, and the local and visiting team members are grateful to be a part of it. We wish you a lovely fall/winter and look forward to seeing you in May 2024 (we open May 20th)!


2023 Legislative Priorities Meeting Schedule

Save the date – September 23, 7pm

On Tuesday night the Borough Assembly approved the 2023 Community Meeting Schedule. These meetings will identify community capital project priorities for the upcoming legislative

session, as well as identify project proposals under the Alaska Community Assistance Program. The Cooper Landing meeting is scheduled for September 23, 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Landing School.

Gwin’s Lodge Hours Update

Gwin’s Lodge store and roadhouse hours are now 8AM-10PM. Breakfast ends at 11 AM. Reminder: Gwin’s To Go Shop (Gwin’s on the Go) is closed for the season. All of our regular restaurant items are available to go, call the store during business hours if you are interested in placing a takeout order. Finally, we have a concert this Saturday! The Dayton Williams Band is playing in our beer garden 9/16 starting at 8! Hope to see you there, have a great week!


AA Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held at the Baptist Church annex Saturday mornings 9:00 and Wednesday nights 7:00. This is an open 12 step meeting. If you are curious or think you might have an issue with drinking or other addictions, come join us!
