Meal Train for Beth Sweeney

Hi Cooper Landing,
Our community has lost a dear friend. We are heartbroken with the news of Ben Sweeney’s passing this past weekend. As we come together in this difficult time, we want to support his family, especially Beth during this unimaginable time. We’ve created a Meal Train to help ease Beth’s load and offer a bit of comfort to her. Please use the link below to sign up to bring a meal to Beth and her family as they navigate through.

Please contact me directly with any questions about the meal train.

TITLE: Kenai Peninsula Community Engagement Coordinator

DEPARTMENT: Trout Unlimited, Western Conservation

POSITION TYPE/HOURS: Full-time/40 hrs per week

Trout Unlimited (TU) takes care of the rivers and clean water that trout, salmon and communities around the country depend on. We are a nationwide network of advocates, outdoor enthusiasts, volunteers, anglers and staff dedicated to protecting places where trout and salmon thrive and recovering rivers and fisheries that need help. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and a reliable self-starter who enjoys interacting with a wide variety of people. They have experience and skills in a range of public outreach tactics, exceptional communication and “people” skills, and have a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision. They have a knowledge of and passion for salmon and trout, familiarity with the culture and sport of fishing on the Kenai Peninsula and are excited to contribute to a fish-filled future for Alaska. Current Mortgage Rates as of 9/18/2024

Good Morning Neighbors.    The Good news today is that the Mortgage Rates have gone down again!

  •         Conforming 30 Year Mortgage – 6.031 %
  •         15 Yr.  5.39%
  •          FHA   5.867%
  •          VA      5.40 %
  •          USDA 5.75%          This looks good for buyers who are considering a purchase.  These rates have dropped in the past few months and may be what Buyers need to make that step.  As you can see there are several types of loans out there to consider.  Hopefully this will help our market in the near future. If you are considering a move please allow me to help you through this process.  I have over 20 years of Real Estate experience   and am a local here in Cooper Landing  ready to work for you. Have a great day!!
