Quartz Creek Area Break Ins
All Cooper Landing residents should be advised of recent break ins in the Quartz Creek area. Several residents have reported various items stolen from their cabins/homes, with most of the items being food and adult beverages.
Significant damage to door frames and doors has occurred in some cases as the offenders used a pry bar to gain access.
In one case all food items were taken except for Hormel canned chili so if you know someone who’s intolerant to that particular delicacy you might be familiar with the culprit(s).
Check your security cameras.

Jan 8, 2025 CL APC Meeting canceled
Please be advised that the Cooper Landing Advisory Planning Commission meeting scheduled for January 8, 2025 is canceled due to the lack of agenda items from the Kenai Peninsula Borough Planning Department. The next regularly scheduled meeting for the CL APC is on February 5, 2025.

Hi friends! Just as a reminder, every Thursday at Estes Brothers we host a SOUP NIGHT! It’s not always only soups, every week is something different. Tonight January 2nd we’re doing tacos and nachos! Soup nights run every Thursday from 3-7pm. We’ve been selling out pretty quickly these last few weeks so calling ahead is always a good idea!
TACO NIGHT!!
Tacos are all $4.50 each! Corn or flour. Orders of three or more will come with a side of Spanish rice and refried beans
Mock-o-bell tacos – seasoned ground beef, cheddar, pico de gallo, red cabbage, chipotle crema
Chippy chickie – grilled chipotle chicken, corn and black bean salsa, radish, cilantro, avocado crema
Barbacoa – tender shredded beef slow roasted in guajillo chilies and orange soda, red cabbage, onion, cilantro
LOADED NACHOS! – your choice of meat (chipotle chicken, seasoned ground beef, or barbacoa) nacho cheese, corn, black beans, pico de gallo, chipotle and avocado crema drizzle
STREET CORN SOUP – smooth and velvetty corn soup topped with cilantro oil, roasted corn, pico de gallo, and radish
