Important information on status of recently approved Federal Subsistence regulations
The Federal Subsistence Board approved changes to the Federal subsistence management regulations for the harvest of fish and wildlife during its April 2026 wildlife regulatory public meeting. These changes will not take effect until the final rule is published in the Federal Register.
Until the final rule is published, the existing regulations remain in effect. Updates will be provided once an estimated publication date is available, and a final notice will be issued when the rule is published and the revised regulations take effect.

4th of July Parade
Celebrate the 250th anniversary of America at the annual July 4th Parade at the Kenai Princess Lodge.
All are invited to participate or attend. Dress up your car, truck, ATV, bicycle or other vehicle to celebrate the day.
Parade start time is 4 pm on, Saturday, July 4th. Those participating in the parade: be at the warehouse staging area on Bean Creek by 3:30 pm.

Summer AA Meetings in Cooper Landing!
Alcoholics Anonymous meetings are held at the Baptist Church annex on Saturday mornings at 9am and on Tuesday nights at 7pm. These are open 12-step meetings. Seasonal workers and visitors welcome! If you are curious or think you might have an issue with drinking or other addictions, come join us.
