Welcome to the Updated Crier
n
nIt’s been a decade now since our last Crier overhaul. Since our website provider switched us to a new service, it provided an opportunity for some updates.
n
nWhat’s New?
n
nThe Crier is now available as an RSS feed. You can subscribe to the Crier in your favorite RSS feed reader. The Crier will still be sent as an email and posted to Facebook on the same schedule.
n
nWe’ve updated our website submission form with the ability to upload files. We ask that all submissions be made this way in order for the information to feed into our Crier web posts easily. We will still check our email for the time being, but email submissions will receive a reminder to submit through the Crier web form. Also, we would like to remind everyone that repeating ads must be submitted before each Crier edition they are to appear in.
n
nWe’ve also extended the posting deadline until 12 pm (noon) the day before the Crier is posted to give everyone a little more time.
n
nWe hope these updates roll out smoothly, but as we are testing out new features, needing work to through some issues isn’t unexpected. We’ve created a new submission form for Crier support, so please let us know if you discover something that isn’t working quite right or to request help with deliverability issues. We want the Crier to work well for everyone, so we appreciate the feedback.
